Increasing Mobile Money Uptake Through A Device Loan Service
6 months (2024) • I worked on this project as a Senior Experience Designer at Ideate Innovation.
We improved usability and the user experience by employing UX best practices, improving visual hierarchy as well as improving the copy. We let the user create their own plan to help them take control of their decision and made all the associated costs transparent and accessible. The existing discounts on additional payments were also highlighted to maximise the value proposition.






We were able to conduct in person user research with Dialog staff and customers in Sri Lanka. I designed sacrificial concepts and wireframes that the researchers were able to use to facilitate interviews.
I was later able to lead user testing across the island with interactive prototypes that addressed the feedback we received from users about their past experience with the service.
